Check out the official selection for 2014
The Annecy Festival is pleased to reveal its official selection for 2014.
After over 350 hours of screening the 2,293 films received, coming from 88 different countries, Artistic Director, Marcel Jean, and the team from the Film and Programme Planning department, have chosen 212 that will be shown during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival running from 9th to 14th June 2014.
The competition programme:
- 55 short films, including12 Off-Limits
- 29 TV films
- 36 commissioned films
- 56 graduation films
Out of competition:
- 36 short films
Great Britain is back with a bang this year and is one of the three countries leading the selection with France and Canada, along with an increase in the number of films from Asian countries. There are also more films directed or co-directed by women this year.
The Annecy Fetival will soon be revealing the feature film selection in and out of competition.
