Can Performance Be Zen?
CITIA invites you to a new "Thématique" at Les Papeteries on 4th July at 8:30 am around the question: Can performance be zen?
CITIA invites you to a new "Thématique" on 4th July from 8:30-11 am at Les Papeteries – Image Factory in Cran-Gevrier. With topics touching on management, meditation and contemporary structures, the following question will be addressed: Can performance be zen?
Three professionals will provide answers to some questions connected to this topic:
- Is it possible to find a balance with high-level performance?
- Are work intensification and competitivity inextricably linked to stress and tension?
- Could meditation and mindfulness lead us to reconsider and reinvent our relationship to work and encourage structures to change?
Our three speakers – a researcher, a director and a practitioner – will share the results from a case study that was carried out in the industrial sector for several years, which led to the "liberation of a department". They will share their outlook on the findings and the limits of these new approaches.
Come and meet up with our three speakers:
- Daniel Françoise, University Lecturer associated with the IAE Savoie Mont Blanc/IREGE and author of a thesis on the impact mindfulness has on managers;
- Sophie Guénin, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program) instructor for private clients and businesses;
- Vincent Berthet, factory manager for an industrial company, member of GERME, a group of managers.
Come along on the 4th of July at 8:30 am at Les Papeteries – Image Factory in Cran-Gevrier to attend this CITIA "Thématique" on performance, which will be followed by a networking session.
