Announcing the Anima-J award winners!
For the Anima-J awards, the region’s secondary school students picked their favorite short film from a 2016 Annecy Festival short list.
Every year, as part of its work in spreading the images culture, CITIA elicits local teachers and their pupils to participate in the Anima-J program, exploring a slate of short films drawn from the most recent official Annecy festival selection.
A panel of teachers first concocts three programs of short films and then they are proposed to primary and secondary school pupils in Annecy and the Haute-Savoie département. Once the short films are screened, the students are asked to vote for their favorites.
For this year’s 2016 edition, the students awarded:
- the Prix des Ecoles to Château de sable by Quentin Deleau, Lucie Foncelle, Maxime Goudal, Julien Paris and Sylvain Robert;
- a joint Prix des Collèges, tied between Château de sable by Quentin Deleau, Lucie Foncelle, Maxime Goudal, Julien Paris and Sylvain Robert and The Short Story of a Fox and a Mouse by Camille Chaix, Hugo Jean, Juliette Jourdan, Marie Pillier and Kevin Roger.
