Image and Tourism: You’re Nothing Without Content 

CITIA, Savoie Mont Blanc Tourisme and the University Savoie Mont Blanc invite you to a Morning Meeting entitled "Image and Tourism: You’re Nothing Without Content". The stakes have never been higher when it comes to conveying an impactful message in today’s tourism industry, which has been greatly influenced by the ever-rising amount of media outlets.

On the programme:

• 8:30 am: welcome coffee
• 9:00-9:45: briefing and discussion about the results of the quantitative and qualitative investigations about how tourist offices, creative professionals and regional stakeholders use images
• 9:45-10:45: the LEON Travel & Tourism company will speak about the topic "Forget form. This time, content is king. Content will either captivate or drive away potential clients."
• 10:45-11:15: creativity and image in tourism, through 3 startup pitches, in partnership with Annecy French Tech:

Forget form. This time, content is king. Content has the potential to either captivate clients or to drive them away. People in the tourism industry have to get with it if they don’t want to lose their audience. Although it’s not too late to adapt to the demands brought forth by the rising amount of media outlets and devices, a new revolution has begun and it’s going to expose all content.
What’s at stake? How should we think about content, produce it, connect it to our strategic goals, associate it with communication and make it accessible, in the right place, at the right time and for the right audience?
