'Permanence d’experts' session at the Papeteries
Come along to a "Permanence d’experts" session at the Papeteries on the subject of "Copyrights and data protection".
In its role of host at the Papeteries – Image Factory, CITIA is presenting a new meeting format: "Permanence d’experts".
Jean-Marie Guilloux, lawyer and mediator specialised in intellectual property rights and new technologies, will be on hand to inform you about a topic entitled: Copyrights and data protection: be prepared!, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, Friday 11th March.
Copyrights and protecting creations
A company produces value with its creations. If these creations are unprotected, they can also become the company’s Achilles heel. The company does not automatically hold the rights of the creations developed within the company or by outside service providers. Protection must be anticipated.
Personal data and gathering information
Simply creating a "client" file or drawing up terms of service requires reflection on how recovered personal data will be used. A future European regulation will strengthen these rules. However, collecting, processing and storing data that respects people’s rights has now become a pledge of corporate loyalty and a differentiating factor.
You can take advantage of Jean-Marie Guilloux’s expertise in this field by making an appointment (45 minutes) to talk personally with him (in French). To make an appointment contact Yannick Heude.
