  Guy Flaujac

Take advantage of two screening sessions to discover the work by filmmaker and animator Guy Flaujac, at the Cinémathèque des Pays de Savoie et de l'Ain.

The Cinémathèque des Pays de Savoie et de l'Ain is situated at the Téléphérique, Veyrier-du-Lac, and collects, preserves and promotes audiovisual heritage material.

Giving a nod to the Annecy Festival, the film library is presenting two screening sessions, before and during the event, devoted to animation and in particular to the work of filmmaker Guy Flaujac.

Closely connected to animation and the cultural life of Haute-Savoie, he was a member of the Atelier de cinéma d'animation d'Annecy et de Haute-Savoie. His film Évolution, using the scratching on film technique, was part of the graduation film competition and was remarked by visiting professionals including Alexandre Alexeieff, the inventor of the pinscreen.

The two sessions bring together his films that are part of the film library's own collection and will be screened in 16 mm on Thursday 11th and 18th June at 7:00 pm.
