Annecy in Budapest for Animation Week
The Annecy Festival will be present at the French Institute in Budapest during Animation Week from 26th to 29th January 2015.
The French Institute in Budapest is presenting a selection of animation for one week in order for people to discover the best in recent Hungarian and international animation. The Annecy Festival and Mome University (specialised in the visual culture of animation) are invited for the occasion.
During the week, screenings of animated features and short films will be presented by their directors. Mickaël Marin, Head of Economic Development & Mifa, will be there to introduce several programmes of films from the Annecy Festival and also take part in panel discussions about animation.
On the programme:
- Monday 26/01: Best of Annecy screening, with an overview of the industry and presentation of the films by Mickaël Marin
- Tuesday 27/01: Best of the Annecy Festival graduation films screening, followed by a panel discussion including Mickaël Marin
- Wednesday 28/01: screening of Approved for Adoption, Audience Award and Unicef Prize at Annecy 2012
- Thursday 29/01: screening of My Mommy is in America and She Met Buffalo Bill, Special Distinction Annecy 2013
